Was in Tesco, Serpentine Green today and they had five Freecom external Classic DVD +/-RW Double Layer 16x reduced from £79.99 to £34.99.

Got to be the cheapest around at the mo, I have been looking for a month now.

Keep your eyes peeled.... durham tesco had sony dvd external rewriters for ~£19 (£130 in pc world).

Loads of targus laptop loocks down from £20 to £2.50

Those are crazy prices. I'll be doing every Tesco in Wiltshire tomorrow!
Does anyone have any feedback into how wide spread around the country the Sony or Freecom externals are?

sorry but don't get around too much - peterborough is, unfortuantely, the furthest I get at the mo (I'm sure it's something to do with the lack of a driving license, or so my oh says!:rotfl: ).
