Sounds FAB. Not only will you know nothing, you will be someone who knows nothing who has also been ripped off.... go for it I say.
Why on earth should you struggle to repay the loans you spent in this day and age??
Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling

What did they do???? Hold a gun to your head? Torture you into signing?

You are the kind of individual that is dragging this country down. Pay your bloody bills and stop whining that its everyone else's fault you have credit. (reading your posts though, i am amazed you understood anything you were signing in the first place).

Did they have your family kidnapped? You chose to take the loan, nobody forced you - take some responsibility and grow up. If you wanted just £1500 then that's what you should've taken.

If this happened, then you will have grounds for complaint.

Are you saying they could reclaim the ransom fee?
Was this covered by the recent ruling on bank charges?
What about the costs involved in hiring negotiators etc.?

It depends if it was an enforcable kidnap, just checking the kidnapping ombudsman website for clarification.

There are plenty of methods outlined on this forum (and other places) for doing this yourself. There's also plenty of experience with the sorts of companies you are speaking to in these forums - none of it very positive.

The only thing that will happen if you pay someone else to do it for you is that you will have paid someone else who will either do a shoddy job or who will need to bother you so much for info that you might as well have done it yourself and saved some money.

Frankly I suggest you save the money but its up to you. If you really think you have been somehow "pushed" into taking out a bigger loan than you needed in the first place and now it sounds like you're being pushed into hiring someone to do something you should be quite capable of doing yourself then it's about time you took responsibility for your own financial affairs - more reason to look into things yourself.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything
