How do I get the stand off Samsung SM933HD

I bought a Samsung SM933HD 19inch TV on line from Dixon's and wanted to put it on the wall, but it comes with the stand of the base already attached ( the base is separate).
Neither the instructions or the Samsung website explain how to remove the stand (if it is possible!) and it will look pretty silly on the wall with the stand attached. Has anyone worked out how to remove it or have I just bought a useless TV.
All the websites say it is suitable for wall mounting, but cant use it unless I can get rid of the stand. Instructions are given for how to put it on in the first place,but it came already attached in sealed box. How daft is that.
Instructions are very basic and have tried using the CD.
