    The three musketeers foil milleners.

You might as well add the Governor of the Bank of England to that list if you think criticising fractional reserve banking makes you a member of the tin foil hat brigade.

"[Academic Economist] Kotlikoff would drain the risk-taking out of commercial and investment banks, hedge funds, and insurance companies—turning them into boring, narrow intermediaries akin to mutual-fund firms. Instead of taking deposits and making loans, banks would connect borrowers and depositors with ultrasafe mutual funds created for those purposes. That would solve the problem of banks not keeping enough money in their vaults to pay depositors if they all wanted their money at once....

In Kotlikoff's biggest coup yet, Bank of England Governor Mervyn King—Britain's counterpart to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke—urged members of Parliament to study the plan."

According to some source, unemployment in America is 10%, so guessing U.S.A pop is 300 000 000, then unemployment is what 30 000 000.

UK pop 60 000 000. and only 5%, my a$$ is it 5%. I strongly believe it to be around 10%.

    Never believe government 'offical' stats.

This economist republishes official US statistics using the methods they used before 1990, when they started massaging the numbers a bit. Not pretty reading if do the comparisons!

People who are "gullible" enough to believe everything they read or see, posted by any unknown 'herbert' on the Intergoogle, calling anyone who believes anything they read or see produced by their elected Government gullible.

As long as you have your apple pie, and your TV you just don't care, Np

I don't have any apple pie or a transvestite.

Does that mean I care, or is it some kind of party I am missing out on.

That was almost as good as an episode of Dynasty except lacking shoulder pads.
