I was declared BR August 09 and am currently in the process of an ED from OR.I have just returned the updated income/expenditure from to them. When I was made BR I agreed to an IPA of £100 pm and im more than happy to pay this amount considering that it was my own fault I got
t myself into the mess in the first place!!
I now have been told that I will get a pay increase at work so my question is do I still have to inform the OR about this even though theyre looking into an ED and if I do will they send another SOA and increase the current IPA ?

If you are in an IPA, then yes, you have to inform the OR.:pB&SC No. 298

Yes, you're not discharged yet and it may not even go through, you still have the same obligations until discharge is actually confirmed.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
If the AD goes through then am I right in thinking that I dont have to inform OR of increase ? its not that im avoiding telling OR i just want to know where I stand, maybe I should call them tommorow and tell that im expecting a salary increase and see waht they do about the current IPA . Any advice is much appreciated.0

If you have an IPA then you will have to inform them of any charges increases or decreases for the 36 months of the IPA.
An ED won't preclude them from increasing your IPA.Louise0 -
I presume then if your bills go up i,e, rent, council tax, water then the IPA goes down
Thanks

Yes that's my understanding, when it looked like we would have an IPA I was prepared to contact my OR with every change, money is tight and if my bills had increased then I would certainly have been looking for a decrease.
Remember an IPA is an agreement between you and the OR.Louise0 -
Many thanks:j0

I had a big pay increase recently which I notified the OR about. At the same time I maintained that my clothing + dry cleaning expenditure had gone up because of the new role and the OR happily went with it.BR 22/10/2009 ED 08/07/20100

My pay increase will be £3000 per year and my current job title will change.I will be expected to dress appropriately where as before a company shirt was provided.Do you think that I should mention to the OR that my clothing allowance will increase ? Did you inform then directly or did you go through Moonbeever.0
