Those how had/are having a "later in the day" wedding and no sit down meal please?

    my sister married at 4, and didn;t tell anyone there was no sit down, only an evening buffet. People were climbing the walls as they had all had a light lunch expecting a meal. it seemed like a long wait until 8pm when the buffet opened. She got married somewhere posh so you couldn't even get a packet of crisps from behind the bar!

    I would suggest cutting the cake straight after the ceremony so that people can have a drink and a nibble on a piece of cake to tide them over.
