Usually no, however what have you put down as assets?

I would of thought that the OR would have a duty to try to gain as Many Assets as possible anything with the value over £500 i was told they would have an interest in and take it away.

If this is true i need not hide my telly lol

actually the receiver is only interested in good that would fetch AT LEAST £1000 at auction (it costs them to dispose of assets) cars however are a whole different kettle of fish...

I have but it is very rare. Usually it would happen if the OR has evidence that you have been lying or concealing assets or books and records.

Another completely unconnected reason they may visit the house is if a face to face interview is needed but the bankrupt is unable to come to the office for instance for medical reasons

very well meaning and I was really touched with the kind offer......the silly thing? I still had to attend court no matter what & the OR's office then insisted on same day FTF interviews....oh well!

If you live in a £1 million house then the OR would expect the contents to match this lifestyle.
