Usually no, however what have you put down as assets?:pB&SC No. 298

I would of thought that the OR would have a duty to try to gain as Many Assets as possible anything with the value over £500 i was told they would have an interest in and take it away.
If this is true i need not hide my telly lol0 -
actually the receiver is only interested in good that would fetch AT LEAST £1000 at auction (it costs them to dispose of assets) cars however are a whole different kettle of fish...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I have but it is very rare. Usually it would happen if the OR has evidence that you have been lying or concealing assets or books and records.
Another completely unconnected reason they may visit the house is if a face to face interview is needed but the bankrupt is unable to come to the office for instance for medical reasonsHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -

as they suggested with my case a few years ago....but I insisted on getting to the OR's office the same day seeing as i'd made it to the court okWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

very well meaning and I was really touched with the kind offer......the silly thing? I still had to attend court no matter what & the OR's office then insisted on same day FTF interviews....oh well!We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

If you live in a £1 million house then the OR would expect the contents to match this lifestyle.0
