McKindless Buses - important information for passengers

February 23, 2010 09:45 UKNews

The McKindless Group ceased to operate their registered local bus services after approximately 19:00 last Friday, 19 February 2010.

On receiving this information on Friday morning, SPT staff set about placing posters on more than 500 bus stops served by McKindless Group services 9, 41, 56, 62 and 75 to provide information on the available replacement bus services.

Information notices at all bus stops previously served by McKindless read: "Would passengers please note it is understood that the McKindless Bus Company will not operate any service from this stop after 19 February 2010." Each notice then gives specific details for each of the individual McKindless Group bus services as below:

thats a real shame, when i was on one of their routes i always used to use thier service instead of the 'other one', less expensive too

its a shame they dint have more services, i always thought they should have grabbed the 'missing link' route, all the way from dumbarton, clydebank, straight up great western road into town

all the other services used to take you round the houses big time
