As a word of warning, on the PC this game requires you to have an active Internet connection whenever you play it. If your connection drops in and out - as a friend of mine's does - the game will dump you back to its menu, losing your progress since the last save. If -like me with PlusNet - you have a limited amount of bandwidth at certain times of the day, you might want to find out how much of it the game will waste. It's probably not much, but Ubisoft are taking this direction for all their games. Also, you can't save your progress to your hard disk, only to their servers, again potentially wasting more bandwidth.
Bluepricey, before you buy it for your sons you might like to watch this preview of the game at Bit-Tech, particularly at about 1 minute 50 seconds in. ( Download and watch the 'mp3', it's actually an m4v file ). To quote, 'this is a seriously gory game'.0 -

Wow, really?!
Definitely won't be paying for this one!
:edit:
I recommend everybody reads up on this, as Ubisoft's new DRM system is massively restrictive.
No internet connection -> cannot play at all.
Internet connection drops during play -> kicked out of game, possibly losing game progress.
Their servers go down -> cannot play at all.
From a consumers rights perspective this is totally unacceptable.
I would strongly recommend people steer clear of paying for all new ubisoft PC titles. (Settlers VII, Assassin's Creed 2, AvP, Splinter Cell: Conviction & onwards...)0 -

I completely agree with you. I was planning to buy Assassin's Creed 2 but there's no way I'm putting up with their restrictions. My internet is pretty stable, but it's not perfect and I wouldn't want to take the chance of losing my connection and my game. I also strongly believe that the only way to let companies know that you disagree with them is to not buy their product, and I definitely don't think that Ubisoft should profit from their overly restrictive DRM.0 -
I agree with the reasons people wont buy it but my internet connection is perfect and have bought it but not from ASDA or PLAY but from ZAVVI, its cheaper than both...link below.
