Online shops Payment rules/Laws ?

Not sure if this is the right section on the board or not, so please move if it isn't.

My question :-

I bought an item from an online store , i entered my contact and payment details, then received the items with no problems, BUT it is now nearly 3 months since i received the items and no money has been taken.

Is there a time limit for them to take the money or can they just take it whenever they feel like it ?.

It is normally up to 6 years! Or 12 years if the contract has been executed as a deed.

I suggest you just put the money to one side and wait and see. I would say if you get past about 12 - 18 months you will have escaped. Because during this period they will have had to do their annual accounts and VAT returns so will have had to ensure all liabilities and assets are accounted for.

Thanks, money is all ready for them, just now it's getting to the point where i don't want them to charge me hehe.
