Which Letter Should I Send?

Hi All,

Can anyone help - I received communication from MacKenzie Hall in 2007 about an alleged debt going back to the mid-nineties - I told them at the time that I knew nothing about it etc. and then I heard nothing.

I have now received a letter from "Connect at MacKenzie Hall" about the same debt, saying I have 72 hours to pay or else.

Now I know this lot are a bunch of wasters and I also know that they were reprimanded by the OFT last year for chasing Statute Barred debts, but I'm not sure whether to send them the "prove it" letter or the "Statute Barred" letter.

Any advice gratefully received.

If you have not acknowledged the debt for 6 years then you send the Statute barred letter.
If you send the prove it letter they then need to send you proof of what the debt is and proof it is yours.
Do you have no idea what it is?

No, I have no idea - they said it was from an address I lived at as a student, but I still don't know.
