My friend works part time for an outlet, and has been there two years, he is on £6.39 per hr, when many of his colleagues are on more.
He also thinks that his coaching cards have not been completed.
He received a warning which lasted a year, which expired last year.
He can't really talk to his management about this, as he thinks they will probably just fob him off.
Is it right that he is on less then others?
Does anyone know how much you get per hour?

In some companies increases are linked to performance, and if you have a warning you get 0% increase for that year.0

You are worth as much as you are able to negotiate, and if you don't like it, you always have the right to leave and get a job elsewhere.
So long as the wage is above the legal minimum, there are no restrictions.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Then ask a coach. That's what they are there for.

Worth checking if this has been taken off the file as an active written warning may prevent him getting the annual pay rise.

Well he has a choice to either speak to management, HR or someone at head office. They will know a lot more than people on a forum. I would approach HR, managers have too many roles to cover to devote a lot of time to HR.0 -
as paulwf said and if the warning was still active when the pay rise occurred , which i believe is july every year if i remember rightly, he will not have got last years pay rise but the warning by now will be off his file as the last for 6 months and he will need to wait for the next pay rise for his wage to come into line with his colleagues. And there is no point in asking what other marks employees get as there are may varying factors that determined pay scales0
