Sky Broadband (now Live) - Registrations from this afternoon
The new Sky Broadband Site should be allowing registrations this afternoon.
Their packages start from free - only you have to pay for installation and connection, £5 for the next package and £10 for the full lot up to 16MB.

I've just rang the staff are being told about it this afternoon and it will be launched tomorrow so I will ring the freephone 0800 5875707 tomorrrow! But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -

wonder what the "fair usage policy" for MAX is ?I d/l around 75Gb per month - reckon that will be too much for them In the blurb it mentions ... Great for the whole family downloading music, movies, sports clips with speeds of up to 16Mb and unlimited* usage, plus FREE professional home installation. As each movie is around 4.5GB they surely must be allowing a fairly sizeable chunk? And the MID package gives you 40Gb so surely it will be a fair amount more than that!!??0

Has anyone registered and been told that Sky Broadband is available to them now? I live in Manchester and the message said they "hope to be able to offer it in the next few months."
