Vernon building society anyone?

Hi

Was taking a look at some best rates products advertised on some website, and a product of the Vernon building society came up. I've never come across them before, but the rates
look quite competitive, especially if one is thinking of buying time (low redemption and reservation fees).

Any opinions here?

Ive no idea about present rates ect but i had my very first mortgage with Vernon Building society 25 years ago.

No probs, just the same as any other place really, if they have the best rates, i would give them a go

They are based in Stockport with several branches/agencies around South M/cr and last time I looked at them they had a restriction on lending to either 20 or 25 miles radius of their HQ. Also their earnings criteria were a bit more restrictive than larger lenders. However, if you fit the bill they do seem from time to time to come up with some good deals.
