8 weeks to go...no bridesmaid dresses...high street letting me down! Help!

8 weeks to go and still don't have bridesmaid dresses sorted! We can't go shopping together as at different ends of the country and have tried to do it via the internet...we have two in reserve, but I don't think either of them like them that much and both have to be returned soon.

Would have liked to go with Dessy or something so I could pick a colour and a material and then they could have whatever they felt suited them best...but we didn't have time to wait for them to be made up.

We have tried all the high street places I can think of (Coast, Monsoon, Phase Eight, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Hobbs...etc!). We are looking for a knee length dress with straps - hopefully in a blue-ish colour (anything turqoise through to purple would be fine). Both bridesmaids are in their 30's.

Any suggestions!!

Hi if you cant find any on the high street, could a dressmaker make them for you ? It maybe the best option. I am sure if they are simple it wouldnt take long.
