NCO Europe

Hi,

Have been browsing the internet for a while now trying to find some help, but given up. Am having some problems in that I keep on receiving calls from a company who I now know to be NCO Europe, the Debt collection people. They are calling me on my ex-directory pay as you go orange phone and leave me messages which I can hardly understand telling me I need to call back urgently. The mention the name of the person they are trying to talk to and unless they are COMPLETELY speaking a different language it most CERTAINLY isnt me they are after.

I have also never had ANYTHING through the post from them at all, which most others with genuine debt who they call seem to have.

I have a paypal and an ebay account but these are not in debt and both working fine and in any case my PAYG mobile number isnt listed there but my landline which they havent contacted me on.
I dont have any dealings with orange, other than my PAYG mobile and never have and have no Barclaycard debt, nor American Express or any of the other companies they represent. I literally have never had any debt (other than the student loan company) and don't have any now either. I am still studying, so my student debt is outstanding but as it should be, I even phoned them to make sure.

I don't pick up the phone as I am at work when they phone and I don't really want to give them my details as I never give out my details if I don't have to.

Am tempted just to get a new SIM card as clearly someone has given them their number as mine... am still a little stressed though and these calls are really starting to bother me.

Any help would be great,

thanks!

    That's what I would do.
