Need some HELP

My husband died in Jan. Since then I have fallen behind on the morgtgage payments I need 2500$ to keep my house, I have talked to the company to see if there was something that I could work out, but I did not qulify, I have two small children and I am terrified that I am going to lose my house. I need some help, I have applied for other forms of assistance but did not quilify. I need some help any help or advice would be welcome.

Where are you from? (I notice the dollar rather than pound). Unfortunately most of us here are British and its hard to advise about foreign laws and benefits systems. Perhaps there may be someone who has an idea? Do you have a welfare system that you can access?0
