hi, just wanted some advice really...my hubby has been offered a loan with flm loans for £3000 and we can't find a guarantor to help us...they called him today explaining that i could be his guarantor, even though i'm not working at the moment, currently receiving long term IB, when i also explained my credit rating isn't great either, they told me not to worry because they don't credit check either, thought everything was sounding good until i started to read bad comments on them and to avoid them at all costs. really don't know what to do now because we can't get any credit anywhere else and we really need a newer car because ours isn't that great and due its mot next week, and we haven't got any funds to repair it...if anyone can post their opinions or advise us please feel free to, btw the apr is a staggering 53% apr, you'll probably think we're mad for even considering this but we're getting desperate and it's our own fault due to previous bad credit history...thanks for listening.

Would avoid at all costs was the worst thing me and OH got into!!! In DMP and they just wont except it. constant phone calls and text messages letters sayiing youve not been in touch when i have spoken to them lots of times is nightmare. Only owe about £800 now and cant wait for us to have paid it off!!!
Please reconsider but know its hard esp if you struggling to get mainstream loan.
Hope you work things out. Good luckProud to be dealing with my debts :j:j

hi just thought i would reply to this.
i also have been offered a loan from flm loans for £1000 even though i didnt want a loan in the first place. all i wanted was a credit card, so that i could build up my credit rating after declaring myself bankrupt back in 2008.
stay away from these loans, they will only end up leaving you in a worse situation than you are already.
as soon as you sign the agreement form they have got you, and they will not give up until they get there money.
loans should never be that easy to get, this is why so many people are in debt and going bankrupt
thanks gaz0 -
My daughter wanted £3000 from FLM over 5 years and asked me to go guarantor. Total repayments were over £7000 and I said no.
Don't touch them.
