We were going to buy some, but the last few wedding we have been to with them, they were only used for stupid photos, and some people just pocketed them.
With lots of people owning digital cameras nowadays we thought a better, and cheeper way would be to ask people to email their photos to us, or upload to a photo sharing site.0 -
Have you tried Ebay? My mum had them on every table at her wedding and we got some great photos of the day - we just asked them to be left on the tables when they had run out. We didn't use them at night time though.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0

ebay have them for a reasonable price, but bear in mind that the processing can be expensive for what could be a lot of rubbish and drunken people sticking there tongues out or worse flashing their bums.
My mum had 10 last year at a cost of £30 then another £60 for them to be processed, only 1 camera had anything god on it and she said she would have rather paid the photographer the money to stay on a little longer.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

We were going to do this but someone suggested in a wedding mag to give out blank CD's. As most people will have a digital camera with them anyway all they would need to do is burn the images onto the CD and give it back to us. Also means we don't have to pay for a shed load of developing
Getting hitched! 23/10/10!! :T

Please don't waste your £ - use the CD idea!
Disposable cameras have film in it that is based around daylight - even with the flash they don't work very well.0 -

I'd also appreciate if anyone does know where to get them cheap at the moment. I'm not having them for everyone, but have a handful of kids coming and though it would entertain them for a while (I'm making them all little packs of things to keep them occupied through the speeches and the meal) - I need about 8 of them.0
