  • This is less about the debt, but is a huge thing for living alone.

    Learn to cook, sew and clean (using advice from the Old Style board). Ask someone good with cars to show you the basics on the motor, and learn how to do things like wire plugs and change fuses. You will save a fortune, and feel incredibly good about yourself.

    Well I already do alot of cooking and basic motor mechanics aren't a problem so I do save in them areas, my hobbys seam to cost me money which I didn't put in the soa as I don't really have a regular payment as such, just as a when.

    Right quick update, I have arranged direct debits for both cc accounts, and also arranging a sale of a few things I own which could possible lead to couple of thousand, it means giving up a hobby but I feel it's something I have to do, I contacted 02 and I can downsize my tariff In a couple of months to 25 a month, also in a couple of months I will getting my rent cheaper by 50quid and I will also be getting 72quid extra in my wage packet from June. Plus I will start cycling the 7 miles to work to cut petrol cost.

    It looks like the APr on the A&L card is going to be even worse that the BC, so you need to pay that off as a priority.
