Welcome Finance - Advice needed.
Hello,
In October 2007, I bought a car through Welcome Finance. At that point, I was young and (obviously) silly, and it's a decision I have regretted ever since.
I'm 28 payments of £317.20 into a 48 month loan of £8000, and I've just called for a settlement figure (they are sending in writing also), which they have quoted at £5517.20.
I'm loathe to pay this. I have never missed a payment, and simple calculations suggest that if I continue to pay each month, that I will have paid very little more than if I pay this settlement figure.
I'm looking for advice on this, since I'd really like to be free of the loan, but I don't want to be ripped off in the process.
Hoping for help,
Jim.
