Hi guys.
I successfully completed my iva last August. It ran the full 5 years with no problems or missed payments.
I understand that after 6 years(1 year after completion) all info will be wiped from my credit file.I have an e mail from equifax confirming this will happen on 20 th August this year.Am i correct in thinking that the iva and all defaults connected with it will dissappear, effectively "wiping the slate clean"as far as lenders etc are concerned.
Will anyone see anything re past problems ?
many thanks Trevor

not sure what the official response is about credit files but an all applications i have seen recently they ask if you have ever been bankrupt or had an IVA
so i suppose you do have to disclose it unfortunately0 -

Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick ... .but .... Why are you concerned about lenders? You're not seriously thinking about new debt .... are you?
