Asda vouchers

I went to a different Asda to normal tonight, and dug out a voucher from my bag for slightly over the 10%, but thought i'd give it a go..anyway, the cashier refused it, not as i was expecting because it was over the 10%, but because i'd not bought the item and said that policy is now that they can only accept asdas own vouchers for bought items, i said ok, but that i'd used them in last few days in a different branch...she repeated that she couldnt accept it as she didnt want 'to be prosecuted'....hmmm
i think maybe the management at this branch are being abit overzealous if theyre threatening staff with prosecution for accepting vouchers for items that havent been bought..surely she didnt mean it..!
