lull before the storm

Hi

Slightly worried. Ive recently tried to set up my own DMP. I have written to my creditors and offered them a payment I can afford to pay. Just waiting for all the phone calls and letters rejecting these offers - however so far everybody has agreed and sent me payment slips through to pay on and either reducing or stopping the interest for a limited time.

Is this normal - or is it to lull me into a sense of "everythings going to be ok" and then they will be sending me the hate mail, demands and default notices.

Out of 7 creditors I have had replies back from 6.

Sounds like you have been fairly lucky with your creditors responses. Thats not to say that after a few months they won't change their tactics but still its nice to see that they have considered the info you have sent so far.
