Got a nectar card?

If you have, hop over to https://www.nectar.com and register. Once you're registered you can buy stuff from loads of different online vendors thru Nectar. At the moment every single CD at CD Wow is half price - if you pay on line using your nectar points.

If you haven't got a nectar card you can always ask a mate who has to grab the cd's for you whilst they're mega cheep.

This even applies to sale prices. So if you fancy the latest Weller Live CD its yours for 800 Nectar points - that's the equivalent to four quid. The Chilli Peppers latest album (Stadium Arcadium) is yours for 1,100 points, I make that £5.50.

You can also search any artist/title and bag it at half price (including pre-orders for the likes of Pharrell and Basement Jaxx). I think this is only on for a week so get yer skates on...

Can u use CDWOW vouchers as well? Which gets applied first.....the voucher or the discount?

Thanks OP just ordered a CD. Froggitt - you can only use nectar points - no way of using CDWOW vouchers.

In the 'redeem points' section you can normally get redeem about 1750 - 2000 points for a chart CD and I do this quite a lot as that's about the standard price.

However, right now lots of them are coming up at 875 points which is £4.38 in old money. It has all the current chart releases (Lily Allen, The Kooks etc etc) so it's quite a good way of using up Nectar points.

Thanks...now this is spooky...I looked at Ronan Keating and then Leann Rimes..the only two that interested me (it's my age!)...Googled Leann to check prices...and Amazon brought it up as a possible duo pack with....you guessed Ronan Keating...spooky what?...same albums and all:eek:

Just found out some further info - it's the Nectar 'Summer or Rewards' promotion.

This week (July 15-21) it's 50% off CD-wow and selected magazine subscriptions.

July 22-28 is 241 at Alton Towers and other attractions

July 29-Aug 4 is 50% off digital cameras and DVD players

Aug 5-18 is 241 at Blockbuster

Aug 19-25 50% more value at Adams for back to school
