Doing manicures?

Considering doing manicures (not artificial nails or anything - just straight pampering hands, filing nails, and painting them).....but whats the legal side of it? Aside from public liability of course? Already registered as self employed so thats sorted.

In order to get PLI for doing manicures you technically need to supply a NQ/NC/SVQ2 (delete as appropriate) manicure certificate. This is due to a huge number of things that can actually go wrong by using the wrong procedures etc.

I'm a nail technician and I find that even suppliers will ask for proof of certification before providing materials.

If you have already done the course then you will just need PLI.
