Grants for new roof alternative, heat saving

Hope this is the right place????

There is rumour of a 40% grant available for houses over 30 years old with original roof that might be ready for re-roofing.
The new system for treating and insulating the external surface of concrete roof tiles in-situ, is already less expensive than a re-roof, but as the 'GREEN' Carbon issues of making concrete hit the headlines, this offer is on trial in certain areas. (Not sure where, but worth the ask, I guess).
All I know is that Mike Peters Roof Coating Co have been advertising in the North West,
Grants for over 50's. House over 30 yrs old, Roof with concrete or clay tiles.

are you sure this is a grant and not just an offer by the roofing company?
we had a quote of £750 for simlar work,but all they do is clean the tiles,treat them to stop moss growing on the roof then apply a coat of paint to make it look like new.The problem with these old concrete or clay tiles is that over time(30/40 years)they wear thin and break easy when stood on,a coat of paint wont stop that
