Newborn gift

A close friend has just given birth to a baby girl. Money is tight and I want to gt her something a bit different/unique but not sure what! budget is no more than £20 including P&P. I want something she can keep and treasure for years to come but trying to avoid the classic certificate holder, photoframe etc etc.

Please help...all ideas welcome

many thanks.

I made my sister-in-law a baby keepsake card that she can frame (I also gave her some baby clothes as her present) but you could make one of these as her present. Buy a frame and this could be her keepsake.

I found the pic of the baby on her Facebook page, added some tags, ribbons and buttons.

Go out on the day the baby is born and buy:

    Local Paper
    One National Paper
    Current Number one CD

Put in a nice box and the baby can treasure this when they grow up :)

  • How about making your own keepsake box. you can buy plain or coloured boxes to decorate. or even use a shoebox, then cover in nice pink/blue paper and add your own extras. Just to give you some ideas these are some i made for christening gifts and i have been asked to make more since
