Is it gorton Monastery ?? It's two minutes walk from my house !! (Unfortunately though, there is ZERO street appeal though).

Have you done an event there? I'll give it another thought if you think it's worth it ?

Do you know if we'd be able to have the venue there as well, or would it be just the ceremony ?

That's the one - I havent been there as its out of my area but I have spoken to them (met them at an events show before they got their wedding licence), you can have your reception there too. They have a website too - cant remember what it is though and I will have to trawl through all my brochures to find it (I have a ton of them:eek:).

Sorry about it not having kerb appeal though.

The fact that we could have a reception there as well, and keep everything under one roof is appealing though.

We'll definitely give it a look. How silly will i feel walking down the road in my dress though - it's not far enough to warrant a car!
