Question about IP addresses & winning

Sorry, I know this is kind of the wrong place but I figure it will actually be looked at here rather than being overlooked in the discussion thread, and it's an interesting topic about winning :P
Does anyone here have two people entering from the same IP address but one of those people enters with a different postal address?
Do you win? My partner used to be able to do his at work, but lately we've both had to do them from home and have noticed a drop in our wins. In particular, we don't seem to be winning ones we both enter (i.e. obviously because we are different people we often enter different comps: I entered a honeymoon he didn't enter and I won. I entered a toy comp he didnt and I won. He entered for a football dock I didn't and he won - those are our latest wins. We haven't won anything we've both entered for a looong time), even though he enters to his parent's address. I wonder if anyone has knowledge about how important IP addresses are in competitions? I know some specifically state that multiple entries from one IP will be disqualified, so I wonder if we're just disqualifying ourselves 80% of the time!
Just wondering what other people's experience is of this really!:)

I tend to enter under myself and my bf from my computer - and we both have different addresses. And I have not encountered a big problem with it. But I have always wondered the answer to your question LOL2015 Big wins: luxury 7 night holiday in sharm el sheikh, theatre tix, £123, IPad Air 16gb, Night in London hotel celebjuicetix :, Portable dvd playerT
Best 2014: £900 VIP cheltenham races day, £200 H&M voucher, £300 camera, 2 nights luxury apt Harrogate, 5 nights glamping cumbria

Ive never thought of that. My mum sometimes enters the same comp as me from same computer so long as says one per person not per household.
We enter our own email address however same address. So long as its one per person Ive always thought same IP address & home address wouldnt make a difference?New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥0 -
This is a question I always wonder myself, I do enter for both me and my partner on some (ones I really want to win) and always wonder if it jeopardises our chances. Would be great to find out xx

I have wondered about this as well."If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

On occasion I have entered for myself and OH - sometimes he wins and I don't, sometimes I win and he doesn't - mostly we both don't but that may be the law of averages rather than IP addresses!
So long as you adhere to the T&C's whatever they may be then you should be equal to others in the pot.
I think there has been a general downturn in wins - certainly for myself anyway!

I always think as well. If you don't subscribe or don't tick the tat that comes with comps. Do they take that into consideration to those that click all the boxes ?0
