I use the icecube bags. We seem to have a constant supply of ice cubes thanks to these, I fill about 5 bags then as soon as one is empty I fill another and chuck it in the freezer, the best bit is they can go anywhere, they don't need to be level and it stops 6 popping out when you only want twoOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I use these too, they are great!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Bread, spread, milk, mature cheddar, tomatoes, eggs, one onion, and oven chips in the freezer
.
A shortfall of any of those makes me dash out for a panic buy, but generally there are other bits and pieces in there too.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

My trouble is those who help themselves to icecubes have a habit of disposing of the bags without telling me!! DS4can go through 10 icecubes in one 1pint glass!! So with the best will in the world I occasionally find myself running short, then I'll buy a 90p huge bag of cubes.
Do you use the bags where you stretch them out and the frozen cubes fall to the bottom? My DGS thinks I'm magic when I do that!:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I keep all my opened jars in the fridge........pesto, mustard, garlic, ginger, beetroot, pickled onions - would put jar of jam there too if I bought it! (I probably go OTT, but I love cold pickles).
Necessary items - totally depends on what you use. I like having milk, cheddar cheese, several other types of cheese, some Greek yoghourt/fromage frais, sometimes both, free range eggs, and my veggies - lettuce, spinach, mushrooms, cucumber, spring onions etc............okay got a melon too just now, so some fruit, mostly soft berries and melon, lemons and limes too.
No wonder my fridge is always crammed!
Am not telling you about my freezer!;)0 -
So how do you ice-cube buyers get them home from the shop without ending up with a plastic bag full of water?
