The books that have higher prices on Amazon look on ebay to see if any have been sold recently. A £30 sale on amazon you pay over £6 in fees on ebay you would pay the listing fee + £1.60 in sale fees.0

This last post is very true, but you will almost always get more on Amazon. Reason being that it sits on Amazon until someone goes looking for that book and willing to pay the price. Ebay, it runs for the duration of the auction and even if it is a £50 book, if those 2 buyers in the country that want it are on holiday, then the book dealer gets a steal.
Unless it is a real antique, then I wouldnt bother with books on Ebay.
And, I would also NEVER look at what Amazon takes, that it doesnt really matter even if it were 50%. all you need to know is what to list it for and what you wil receive.0
