Sweat chunked onions in oil. Add meat and mushrooms and fry gently until meat is cooked through. add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and piementos if you have them all, if not any combination is fine! and a generous glug of cheap red wine. Simmer gently until the juice has reduced by half and onions are soft. (At this stage, you can also add a generous helping of double cream and reduce again, to make a deliciously rich sauce to die for!) serve over spaghetti with warm crusty bread spread with garlic butter. I would fry the meat in spices and then serve with melted garlic butter on top.
Then boil spaghetti and make a sauce using onions and mushrooms. You could fry the onions and mushrooms, add oregano, basil, salt, pepper, a little chilli powder and garlic and oil. Add the boiled spaghetti (you might want to think about breaking them before boiling) and fry a little bit until the contents are well mixed together. Serve with beef on the side...0
