Just an ebay purchase for me but got a cracking deal at Tesco
In April they had bold apple blossom 48 tablets at half price £2.18. They where on offer for about 4 weeks but only in stock for 1. So l got a price promise voucher. I managed to buy 6 boxes the first week and have just started the last box. Well the bold tablets 48 have 25% extra free this week so l thought it's a good time to use my voucher. Picked up 8 boxes and went to the till. The customer services lady said that l could only get 1 box at £2.18 because there was not a quantity on the voucher. I dug my heels in and said that the assitant who wrote the voucher did not ask me how many boxes l wanted back in april so it's their fault and they should let me have as many as l want. The manager said that anyone who buys 8 of any one item is bulk buying and has to specially order them. I said this was nonsence because l had seen a customers with at least 12 of these boxes in his trolly go through the till no problem. Eventually the manager agreed to let the 8 boxes go through at £2.18 so not only did l get them half price l also got an extra 25% extra free. Well chuffed. Just thought l would tell how Tesco try to not honour the price promose vouchers.Tamiya Widow0 -
