Received my luxury mother and daughter day prize today at a very posh hotel. There was something satisfying about walking around the place in a lovely white fluffy towelling dressing gown and matching slippers. The spa was fab, the facial was superb and the aromatherapy massage was just out of this world. The food was 5 star and later we had our photos taken for a Dove promotional campaign. (The day was free from a competition win with a local paper).

On the way home, completed 1 mystery shop so free £4 of shopping, then went to Tescos and had an r&r on a nintendo ds game which scanned thru at £35ish, went to another tescos to get diesel had r&r on some chunky aeros as I was feeling peckish, then went to another Tesco to pick up the mens health goodie bag and got overcharged on some chocolate. So today due to Tesco misprices I was refunded just over £40 pounds !!!! RESULT !

Returned home feeling mellow and rather relaxed, played the answerphone and discovered I have won a pair of children's school shoes courtesy of the local Clarks shoe shop.

What a great day !!!

Hiya MBN, you may well see me in a paper soon. The Dove rep assured us that the mother and daughter promotion is promoting people who have not been airbrushed etc ! I know that I have to have a photo for the local paper when DS goes and has his new Clarks shoes fitted. With school going back next week that was well timed !

Talking of tesco photo processing, picked up 4 films today, using a 300 point bonus voucher and 4 x free photo cd vouchers, sat down to look through them and discovered 11 photos of a rather hunky young bloke who unfortunately has no connection whatsoever to myself or my family !!! shame as he was rather dishy. Phoned Tescos and they asked if I could drop them in, wonder if he has my 11 photos of my kittens !

MBN well done on the extra stars, when I post now I tend to find I have one of the highest post counts on most threads which means I am spending far too much time on here. Still I get a buzz out of helping newbies as we all were once trainee moneysavers. Although my PM box should have it's storage capacity increased.

Nothing in mail today, but in town got a perfume sample, an aftershave sample and the Chanel mascara. The SA said the mascara is enough for 2 weeks, not sure it looks it, but we'll see!

-2 lots of Tesco Wine club mailings, with some very useful coupons (think the Wine Club is the best Tesco Club in terms of offers and regular mailings);)

-leaflet from Sainsbury's, including 6 coupons for £2 off a £20 shop - to be used in my local Tesco, which has a huge banner at the entrance - 'Asda and Sainsbury's coupons accepted here':j:j

-Surf sample (at last!) with 25p off coupon
