Well this morning seems a distant memory - I had post for the person who lived here 6 years ago and nothing for me !

Picked up my papers today and got the free christmas paper from Superdrug. Went to Argos and bought a freeview box for £19.99 - a job for Mr Welshy to set up and I bought 2 PAYG phones from 3G for only £29.99 each which include £30 airtime on each, it was one per customer, but good old mum was with me at the time. I had reserved 5 lots of toys there today so got back £25 in Argos vouchers.

Unfortunately, after spending over £100 on a starter motor for the car, whilst out today my speedo stopped working and it would not go into 2nd or 4th gear. Will have to sweet talk Dad into looking at it - argghhhhhh

Builders came around and apologised again for not starting planned date is now Monday (fingers crossed)

Went to Tescos to cheer myself up - bought £55 worth of kids and mens clothing and paid £2 by using the blue/brown vouchers and some money off book vouchers from the newspaper. (I did buy other shopping too to bulk it up).

Amusing thing happened last night at 2am my parents were knocking my door - they had been out and forgotten their house keys !!! but as they live nearby I was the closest. I think it should be the other way around LOL

Free half a chicken from Nando's, using their loyalty card,
Set of 3 bath products and sponge from Nescafe beans collect,
£3 more in vouchers from Hovis (their error, they already sent me them once)!

I received my shortbread about 10 mins ago, just as I had put the kettle on for a cuppa....the shortbread has gone now

It did the trick though, it made me remember just how yummy it is and I'm going to treat myself to a box this week.
