What Freebies Have You Received Today?

I know I have mentioned my lack of internet at the moment and my huge problems with Talk Talk - well today I had 2 phone calls, the first promising that I will get my TT modem and starter cd by Tuesday of next week via courier (and not pigeon I did check !) and the second call offering me a financial sum as a goodwill gesture. It was a nice offer on their part and very gratefully accepted. Huge thanks to Edna_Bucket for the email address.

I also went to Tescos today, didn't use any money off vouchers due to previous problems and could not believe it when a supervisor was called to check to see if the cashier could indeed use my clubcard vouchers ???? anyway they explained that if I had bought the items I could indeed use them, so had 700 points added to my balance so it is now over 10000 which equates to £400 at MFI.

Also went to PC World, saw a lovely laser printer with scanner - haggled abit and managed to get £10.00 off and a free toner worth £50.00. The printer is fab and was very easy to install and set up.

I found in the post a mailshot from Kenco with four individual coffee samples.:p I'm on their mailing list because a couple of years ago I enquired about a coffeemaker and gave my address. Didn't buy it though...:D

Today, I received an Aussie hair sample and a Tesco baby and toddler mailing with lots of clubcard vouchers.

Have decided to book myself into one pampering session a month (at least) so today at 11am I am off to the beauticians.

This PM off to Barry Island with my son to have a trip on the "real" Thomas the Tank steam engine and meet the characters from the stories. He was so excited he got me up at 6am - bless. The tickets were FREE because I won a competition.

Can't remember if I said but we popped in Morrisons on Thursday for a few bits and a Morrisons lady in the baby aisle stopped us. Told her we weren't really buying much so not interested in buying Johnsons Naturals today, so she gave us two packs (4 pull-ups) of Morrisons own Pull-Ups to try.:T
