Anyone know about basket weaving?

I'd like to have a go at basket weaving, does anyone know of a good video tutorial that I could take a look at? Or where's best to source materials? I'm in Staffordshire if that helps.

  • My father made his own baskets when I was a child. I still have one of his baskets that I use for shopping now and it must be over 40 years old.

I think I saw a book about it when I was clearing his things out (after he passed away ) if I could find that you are welcome to it.

Is there a environmental house near you ? There is one in Leicester and they run night classes on traditional home crafts.
Have you tried one of the back to basic web sites..Something like River cottage might help.
