Grandaughters possible debt
I have my grandaughter living with me.
I am concerned over her ability to control her spending.
If she gets into trouble with debt collectors chasing her, will that affect my credit status considering that she has the same address.
i.e will this address become a bad credit risk??

No, an address is never "black listed" it is all down to the individuals.
If you have any shared financial products (eg joint accounts, loans, cards etc) then your credit ratings will be linked. If you dont then they shouldnt be but to cover off the "risk" that they do you can submit a notice of disassociation to confirm that you are not financially tied.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
