Does it have a "use by" date on it? If so and it's past that, I wouldn't risk it personally. On the other hand, if it tastes ok, it probably is ok. Decisions, decisions......YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Some very good advice I once read on the OS board was:
Smell it.
If it smells okay, taste it.
If it tastes okay, eat/drink it.
Eggs/cream would smell and taste horrible if they had gone off, surely.
