Thanks Buffy, Hope you are OK.

We paid our friends who booked the whole venue out, not the Hotel direct unfortunately. OH has told our friends they can keep the money (this is right thing to do I think) and they will see if anyone changes their plans and wants a room - they think this is unlikely. We therefore could not swap the booking as it isn't our booking IYSWIM. Am considering whether to look for cheap local travelodge type place tho, to ease the rush that tomorrow will be otherwise.

Ha ha Bun.....discombobulated sums up my mood exactly. Can't put my finger on it. I think a lot of us here have been feeling like this over the past few days. Some of it may be down to apres-party, but I'm just finding it difficult to shake it off which is most unusual.

Not helping that K is away for such a lot longer and I'm really missing her just now.
