Forecourt Food Prices

in Debate House Prices & the Economy
I am so angry I have just been to the local petrol station for fuel and while I was in the shop paying I remembered we needed coffee so I walked over to the grocery section, Nescafe Gold Blend £3.99 for a 200g jar? I'm sure it's only £3 in Asda, what's the dance here?

    I hope you were suitably MSE and emailed the voucher to your work addy to print off.

    That is cheap. I think in the supermarket it is 5.79p per 200G.

    You sure it was not 100g

    1. Forecourts premium price everything as its usually a distress purchase
    2. Asda will have a deal on thats not on with whoever owns the forecourt

    Loving the distress purchase, believe me I was suitably distressed when she scanned it and £3.99 popped up on her little display.
