Asda 30 eggs for £3 - scanning at £2.50

I decided to take advantage of the 30 eggs for £3 in Asda tonight and was a bit surprised when they scanned at £2.50. I mentioned it to the checkout operator who said they had been going through at £2.50 for days although the shelf label certainly said £3. This was Asda Cumbernauld- not sure if there's a glitch anywhere else but a good bargain at that price - works out at 8.3p per egg

that is good - cant wait till they finish building the new asda by us - might not be on offer by then though.
