Isn't a strengthening dollar bad for gold investors?

Sure, but the dollar is going bankrupt within the next 2 years.

The temp strong $ is good for gold and silver investors because it pushes the price even lower for a little longer so we an by even more before the price goes up as the $ falls in the future.

Im not sure about 2 yrs but before 2020.

These headlines always confuse me. "X slides", etc.... I am never sure which way round that means.

Pound slides further.... does my brain in trying to work out if I should cash in my $$s now or hold onto them. It's a mental block I have over the whole raft of exchange news.

I`ll help you buy silver before there is a run on the pound.

Trying to pretend the Discount Rate move has anything much to do with the current 'marginal' strength of the USD is bordering on the ridiculous.

GBP has weakened this week due to the extraordinary borrowing requirement for January.

That is exactly why we are in so much trouble.
