Growing your own veg- where 2 start?

Would really like to start growing my own veg to save money and give my family some home grown food...

But where do I start? Have got toms and green beans already, but want to do more... HELP

    Not too much you can do this year. Find the seeds you want for next year reduced in the shops now however.

    Have you got a garden? Greenhouse, etc?

    I don't know if they're your cup of tea but I think you can just about plant carrots until the end of July. You can also start Chard off (you can have summe and winter sowings of this).

    A good seed site if you're in the UK is http://www.alanromans.co.uk/Default.asp?cookiecheck=yes&. You don't get a fantastic range of seeds but they are all 50p per pack and if you spend over £5, postage is free.

    In October you can plant garlic too
