Help! Greasy hair - what's the best shampoo?

I've had greasy hair since I was a teenager. I try and wash it every other day, but by the second day, I can't wear my hair loose.
I've been using Head and Shoulders Citrus Fresh for a while now but I think my hair got too used to it, if that makes sense.
I switched to T-Gel but this seemed to make my hair even greasier. I'm now trying Charles Worthington Balancing Act because it was on offer in Sainsbury's, but my hair feels heavy. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo?

Do you wash twice and rinse thoroughly? I find that if I don't wash twice my hair doesn't stay clean for very long, same with rinsing. Also, try putting some vinegar in to the final rinse water or into a jug of warmish water to use as a final rinse, this should "cut" any grease from your hair.0

I also have really greasy hair and have to wash my hair every day. Washing twice does help a little but I find the best shampoo for me is vosene. I have used it since I was young and it really does leave my hair feeling clean.0

I have really greasy hair too and have since I was about 12(now 36!) I have to wash my hair every day usually , I use sainsburys tea tree shampoo and find it really cleans my hair well. I also use dry shampoo ,its a life saver if I just dont have the time to wash it. It is really good and the tropical one smells lovely! Just looked and found the brand I use has a website .....ooh goody they do one for dark hair too- so no powdery hair (which is the only problem if you use too much lol)
