without checking i must assume that it must have gone up today...

You didn't need to say anymore than that. What else does the "assume" mean?

Why would you "assume" they have gone up in relation to what really stated if it's not a pop?

Go on, squirm out of that one chucky darling. You could aternatively tell me I miss the point.

I was just finding out why there was no updates because I thought we had some perspective currency traders on here and that any losses or gains may have been big news.

    Guess I was wrong.

Just like Stu mentioned on the other thread its a bit obvious whats going on here. Graham should take it a compliment though in my opinion. I suspect those who mock him take his opinion a lot more seriously than they would like to admit.

    Children please! Stop bickering!

Why not come & help us search for a definition of "truth" in the behavioural study by the LSE thread...;)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I would have thought if you followed currency any day was relevant.
I did not know it was just related to news articles...

You guys take life far to seriously, if it was just news and not relevant why get so wound up. It's up .5% in a day, not much at all but days make the bigger picture do they not. In a year this month may be irelevant but it will still make up the picture of a year.

This thread was not about following currency.

Personally I do not believe you are backward enough to actually believe it is. You are a bright fella, just determined to be extremely awkward.

The pound was in the news and falling sharply, hence the thread. It is in no way a "currency follower" thread. It was about what what happening at the time, which was significant.

It's no longer significant. Nothing significant is happening. Therefore, no update. No news stories.

If this wasn't about being so extremely difficult, as you were on the other thread yesterday, and also the other thread I started today....you would have simply clicked onto a financial site and looked at what the pound was doing, instead of dragging this up from 3 pages ago.

Wait until I actually slip up. It happens, frequently. Then jump on me. But trying to find the slightest thing to force these kinds of forum exchanges is annoying. I only respond as I don't feel it's fair to keep reading this stuff and not having a say.

Nice of you to say but TBH I only saw the thread from page 3 as I had some time off from posting. (something I may have to do again)

We are net importers as far as I'm aware. A Low pound will cause inflation I suspect. Cant really see Primark etc being able to keep their costs low. How much stuff do people own that are made in the UK?
or Turkey etc label. oh we are in doo dooos. If you search very carefully though, you can find British bacon still made here:j
