Credit Expert plus Loan question
Options
Hi
I have a credit card and overdraft but would like to combine the 2. I applied for a loan with my bank (Abbey) and got refused. Now both the credit card and overdraft are with Abbey.
Is there any reason for this, and if I look on credit expert would I be able to find out why? Will credit expert give me an indication on available credit?
I can obviously get credit as I have the card and overdraft.
I have not missed any payments on any accounts either.
Cheers

You need to understand that credit scores only give you an indication of how a lender might see you, it's their own lending criteria that they will make their decision on. In your case Abby just think you have enough to pay out already. Credit agencies just show how good you are at making payments, that you live where you say you live, how many credit accounts you have etc... but nowadas especially, most banks are going on their own lending rules they just use credit reference agencies to confirm your info.
You might have better luck trying another lender that isn't a bank.0
