There is a campsite called Mountianview Caravan Park which I think is near where you have described! Just Google it and you will get the details. (I'm a newbie so can't post a link yet- sorry!)

Try posting on https://www.practicalcaravan.com forum, they have a section for UK parks recommendations, and most members are very helpful-like here!. Be prepared for some abuse tho'; some caravaners don't like people working when on sites, and lots of sites prohibit working or commercial vehicles, e.g. vans.
But if he has a car, and comes and goes at reasonable times he won't have any trouble, and site owners like a long termer for income!
