(((Hugs))) Linda. You are more than intelligent enough to do the course, it's just a case of getting used to the style/content that they expect and tailoring it to meet that. You will get there, don't be disheartened. Think of it like a bad run - you know the only way to get over it is to get back out there and run some more.

    Very true!

Ohh I missed a troll! *reluctantly puts troll-bashing implements away*

    Buffy, it's definitely 5k. :)

I haven't decided which RFL to do this year. Might do the Bath one if it's not too expensive to get there. Or maybe will just do Leeds or Bradford.

    Oh Thank God!

I watched the Biggest Loser people do their 13 miles the other day. crikey moses that was impressive!!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hugs Linda. Go back to it when you're ready and see what it says hun :grouphug:

Bunny, I'd be more than happy to donate some Tesco vouchers to buy some air miles for your mum to get to you for a weekend chick. Mum time is very important ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • Thanks SPud-it would be too difficult to buy a ticket from Toronto to Fla I think.

Its the time constraint more than anything babe-but thank you so much for offering, you are all so kind.

Ah Linda, I'm sorry. ((hugs)) hunny xxxx

My Mom can't get to FLorida now. Gutted. She is a teacher and requested thru all the correct channels to get the time off and was denied. In hindsight she should have just taken the days as sick but too late now. Its a LOT of money (which she doesnt have) to fly for the weekend so I am going to BEG my sister and brother to either buy her a ticket for FLa or to come see me in the summer. These past few days have been puuuriiiitty crap I must say. Hey ho.

Aww Bun, hope you can sort something out between you x
